You should have him take a picture of it and email it to you for 'proof on non-bull****' (made that term up :D) and if he refuses than it probably isn't what he claims it is.

It doesn't matter anyways, according to the serial number ranges listed earlier in the thread there's NO WAY that telecaster is the FIRST one from 1951, as he claims in the auction. It could be authentic, but it's probably from 1953 or so.
