Anyone who ever ordered custom! How custom can you go?

can they make a EVH 78' or a ALnico II pro in a single-coil size? if so what would it sound like and would it be worth buying (tone wise, don't think about the money "i know i know" :beerchug: )

Off topic::: anyone who has ever ordered a custom shop pickup, how long did yours take???? :question:

I've ordered several custom shop pickups, and it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks normally, with 4 being the usual. It can take longer during peak business time, and at other times it can get done in a day or two. Figure 4 weeks, then you won't be dissapointed.

As for what they will do, almost anything. They already make an Alinco II Pro in a single coil size. In fact, the single came first, then they made a humbucker version of it. Its called the Anico Pro Single. With regard to the 78', just call the custom shop and talk to MJ. She will tell you if she can get close, and whether it will be worth it or not.
