UPDATE:

They put some of it up on their site: https://guitarfetish.3dcartstores.com/Factory-Blowout-Clearance-Sale_c_410.html

OK guys a hypothetical...

Let's say you're in one of the largest Guitar Factories on the planet. You make a wrong turn going to the Men's room and stumble into a HUGE warehouse filled with guitar necks, bodies and setneck guitars. Some finished, some unfinished, some just planks cut to shape. Nothing is in perfect condition anymore, but it's all pretty cool and most can be buffed back into shape.

You find out this room is where all the guitars go when big companies suddenly cancel their purchase orders or fail to pay for shipments, and since the recession hit in 2008 this room has been getting STUFFED with merchandise. The factory strips all the parts and pickups off to claw back some money, but all the wood is just sitting there, collecting dust.

You make an offer for a hundred pcs but the factory says we will do your price ONLY if you buy the entire warehouse!

Well- what would you do?

Over 6000 necks in the first container...

Can't wait to see what all they got! Thinkin' I'll start a couple project guitars whenever they post everything up.

How come they were assembled but unpainted?

Dammit...can't see the pics.

Side note: I remember when Kramer tanked and Victor Litz Music in MD picked up just about everything left in their warehouse. It was a good time for parts whores...I picked up an American neck, brand new-$75.

There's got to be some left handed stuff in there somewhere.

I'm thinkin' some were fully assembled and some were right in the middle of the process. It's just a treasure trove of various bodies and necks on the cheap and I like that. :D

very interesting. perhaps a project bass is in my future.

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

I am guessing it's not the Samick factory, because I believe they are the biggest manufacturer. Peerless, Unsung?

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

If the price was right, I'd live amongst that ****.

Trippin' over bodies and necks in the middle of the night n ****.

Kinda like Jerry's house.

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

if someone buys the whole warehouse, I would like to buy some parts from him.

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

Actually, a lot of that stuff looks like SX branded parts. The "Ibanez" body with the square (as opposed to AANJ) heel, the slightly pointed Strat headstocks, the Strat body with the swimming pool with a slightly larger arm rest area (Douglas brand, and probably Paulownia)..

The pile of necks has ONE Dean neck and one Ibanez neck. Most of the rest look like SX and maybe Brice.

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

Would love to see a clearing of guitar stuff cheap - I'm in!

Well, maybe.

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

I'd be all about the bodies but all those scarf joint necks would take too much work and wouldn't net the results I'd want so it wold be a waste.

Re: AnyoneSee What Guitar Fetish Posted On FB Earlier?

I'm really not kidding. I have 5 finished bodies and necks that I haven't assembled into Strats yet... and ideas on the next few I want to do. I have a plastic grocery bag full of colors I haven't used yet.

It's a sickness. :banghead:
