APH-1 bridge matches with which single coils? lil,59?Advice needed

Hi there guys,

First things first, I love my APH-1 at my bridge of my H-S-S guitar.

I've recently purchased a SSL-1 for my neck but I realised I didn't like the piercing highs of it. Furthermore, I was looking for a nice neck PU that I could solo with a lil tad of gain. I play a mixture of classic, hard rock style of music

So...I need your help!

Anyone has any suggestions on a hum-free single coil neck pickup that can match my APH-1 at the bridge. I've looking at the lil'59 but I'm worried that its will overpower my APH-1 significantly. Would it be advisable?

the lil 59 will probably give you a tone closer to what you want than the ssl1. you should be able to get a neck lil 59 to balance out with the aph with out much problem. if you have the aph where you like it, raise or lower the lil 59 till you get the balance and tone you want
