i think the lead is off a bit. or the tracks are at a different BPM. something doesn't seem quite right. besides that the playing sounds good.

What it was is I was building it based on the click tracks in Audacity, but then shut off the click track and played the solo based on what was recorded. I had a hard time because for the bass and rhythm parts I was playing them without hearing them, i.e. just on guitar plugged in but muted, against the click track. I'm getting used to the click track, but alas....

I should've kept the original solo probably. I flubbed into weird notes once or twice on the original one, but it had these awesome sweeping 5ths and slow, wicked bends. Remember, this was all contrived in like 5 minutes, no rehearsing, no writing anything down, total improv.

i see, i have audacity as well. i use the reverse and phaser effects for some sweet indie sounds. course that's kind of what i play sooo....

all of my clips are improv. no wonder they sound so crappy :smack:. maybe i should get better too :smack:.
