(ArtieToo) SFX-01 And Buffer A Success Story!

Hello Artie....Hey buddy,I was spending alot of time tonight with my new SFX-01.As long as I plug into the SFX-01 first and then into the buffer,everything is great..The buffer adds an ever so slight boost to the SFX-01 but it doesn't add any extra hiss or noise..I was amazed at how "transparent" the buffer is.I thought it was going to boost not only the signal,but add white noise or buzzing...Nope,Got lucky!

My SFX-01 has my own little touch that I added...Nothing beats the nice big blue LED... :dance: Below I have the SFX-01 velcroed to the buffer and George Ls making the connections...

Yep....I spent plenty enough time with Artie's and so I Know it's a keeper...Besides,replacing an LED didn't harm any other thing about the pedal and I'm a Pro at it....LOL

When I mod pedals for guys,the LED colors are random unless someone specifies a blue LED in their pedals...Not only that but the blue LEDs are twice the price of any of the other colors I use...

Very cool, very nice John. Plus, you got me to thinking. They make those three-color LED's. It would take a bit of wiring, (not too bad really), and you could have red for pos #1, yellow for the middle, and green for pos #2.

I just might have to work that up. :laugh2:

Artie...I'm getting to know more about you and I can vision the stacks of drawings and schematics you have laying all around...Does your wife use any of those drawings or schematics as place mats at your kitchen table?

Very cool man! After I get another guitar and pick up an SD-1, I'm sending it to you for modding ASAP!

The jack is in there so you can actually see the LED, without it in the pedal won't go on.

I assume it's there to activate the pedal so he can show off that LED.

Yep....The light never comes on unless you plug into the input...

hey stradeluxer...got a question man...I was going to send my Ibanez TS9 into Robert Keeley for his Mod Plus modification, but I've heard from around the boards that you can do the same thing just as well. About how much would it cost me to get my pedal to you and have you mod it for me?
