The heads speaker plugs are wired in series.

Every Marshall amp I've owned or looked inside of has had parallel wired speaker outs.

The heads are typically run with one cab at 16 ohms or 2x16 ohms in parallel resulting in an 8 Ohm Load. Especially since 1990 when Marshall released the current style of 1960 cabs with Stereo/Mono switching.

Exactly. The speaker jacks on the heads are wired in parallel, not series.

The JCM 900 Dual Reverb was reissued almost 10 years ago. Why, I dunno. They should have reissued the MkIII and I wish they would.
