Have you tried to used one of those smartmedia to XD adapters to extend the length of recording time available to you with a higher capacity XD card? Smartmedia is tiny compared to other media forms out there, so I've been looking for an alternative way to store using this system. I know that the smartmedia slot in these things is a bit picky, so I just thought I would see if anyone has tried this idea yet to see if it works. The adapters are supposed to be able to seamlessly and transparently use an XD card in a smart media slot. The XD to Smartmedia adapter can't use a slot that must have the door closed to function however. Does the GNX3 have a door on the smartmedia slot that must be closed?
