Audio/Linear pots - LH or RH?

Hey,

I'm rewiring my strat and I'm left handed. I know I need an audio taper pot for the volume and two linear pots for the tone controls. But I've always assumed that whether a pot is Left hand or Right handed is merely a case or how you wire them into the circuit?

As in, a left hand strat wiring vs a right hand strat wiring would be a mirror image so the wire of the left lug would be on the right etc?

Whats the difference between a left handed and right handed potentiometer?

I'd heard that about pots too - ie it changes with the way you wire them. The only problem may be with the logarithmic pot and backwards.
