Do you think that these p/u could be authentic Seymour Duncan SJB-1
as there is no "basslines" logo on them ?

hard to tell. it doesnt look like the new vintage jazz models, but it could be an older one. do they have any marks on the bottom?

No. There is absolutely no mark on these p/u. Seller told me that they are 3 years old aged.

A friend of mine recently purchased two SJB-1 (n & b), they look pretty worn.
The problem is, they do not have any sticker on them, and they have plastic-wound cables. here are two pics.

Ω readings are approx. 8.65 for the neck a 9.21 for the bridge. Do they are legit SJB-1s?

SD does not use orange insulated conductor wire. One would expect the solder joints to be considerably better. (Could be a cheapskate repair.)

There is a strong possibility that the pickups in the photographs are whatever stock item the SJB-1 pair replaced.

The Forbon flatwork and magnets look like they could be authentic, but the hookup cable definitely is not. Also, SD wouldn't use that reddish paint mark.

Those look USA but might be actual Fender items.

Sh*t. I asked him few more pics, showing the top of the bobbins, the windings and the hookup wire's solders.

Why should the previous owner have replaced the hookup cables?

Would it be possible to obtain a photograph of both pickups, together, side by side, in the same photograph? Ideally, with a six inch steel rule in shot.

While we are at it, how long are the output conductor wires on each pickup? Also, when offered up, top to top, do the magnetic fields of the two pickups repel each other?

• The 2 pups do repel each other.
• Yellowish cables are 23,5cm long (each one)
