Avatar Vs. Earcandy 2x12 cabs?

I believe I'm going to get rid of my legacy 4x12 cab and downsize to a 2x12. I may just get another legacy 2x12 cab. But if I don't:

Overall who do you think makes the better 2x12's, Earcandy or Avatar? And for Earcandy I'm speaking of the buzzbomb cab.

I haven't used either of them, but the Cabby upgrade from EarCandy looks really cool. I'm on the verge of buying a 2x12 as well, so I'd love to hear opinions too!

EarCandy cabs are a heck of a lot more expensive! For that kinda dough I'm more likely to get a Mesa, Splawn, Bogner, etc...Avatar seems like a really good deal. $300ish for a nice cab with good speakers in it...

I've got an Avatar with one G12H30 and one V30, couldn't be happier, especially when considering it was $318 to my door. Call Dave and tell him what you are into and he'll get ya set up, very cool guy and he knows speakers.

RThe lowend Avatar cabs are good cabs but they are not built as solid as I would prefer a cab to be...however the Avatar Premier cans are very well built, loaded with you choice of very cool speakers and the price is amazing...

I've had both--with the same speakers--and the Earcandy is like having a 4X12. It's a very deep cabinet and sounds amazing. The Avatar is a good cabinet and will serve you well, but if you're looking for a GREAT cabinet, go with the Buzzbomb.

Do a search for buzzbomb here or better yet, do a search on ebay for both active and completed auctions. You won't find one. When someone gets them, they keep them. If you buy it and don't like it, you'll probably be able to sell it for close to what you paid for it because whoever buys it won't have to six weeks to get one!

EDIT: I haven't heard the new cabs yet so I can't comment on those. The one I had was a little thin sounding, but the Avatar 4X12 was just great. I got the buzzbomb and loaded it with a Hellatone 30 and 60 I got from Avatar.

Holy skeet! Even after 32 reviews of the Buzzbomb 2x12 on Harmony Central the lowest average rating in all departments is 9.9!

Now I want one instead of upgrading to a cumbersome 4x12. I live in the wrong damn contry though! I'm guessing the cost would be colossial tp ship ones of those to Australia. I have an idea for the boutique equivalent here in Australia but I can't quite tell if they're as good.

If you're going the higher end route, I'd suggest a Bogner Shiva-style cab, they're great.
