I played around with one in the store, and fell in love with it. The simple fact of having separate bass and treble controls gave it a lot of tonal versatility. I have it on good authority that there's one "under the tree".

I liked it enough to buy one. While it doesn't have a lot of usefulness in front of the Pro Mod, it's surprisingly useful in front of a POD - it really clears things up in that setting.
Also, if you have a Dual Rec or other similar-sounding amp, I can't recommend it enough for tightening the sound up without loosing that low-end grunt they have.

I have one and, to be honest is the best overdrive i have used yet. I have been through about 5 different overdrive pedals, i found this is really nice, creamy sounding, and tube like.
It does both overdrive and clean boost really well
Great also for tightening and adding gain to the existing gain channel. I would never gig without mine. I also use a boss sd-1 super overdrive, which adds more high midrange than the bad monkey so in a way lets your solo's cut through a bit better, whereas the badmonkey has more of a transparent tone.
