They were way cheaper new, but because Billy Corgan and Slash used them as a joke, they're getting more expensive each year since they're discontinued. A good joke on some forums is to go nuts with an EMG and Floyd on it.

IMHO that guitar absolutely screams for a Invader bridge. Not only does it give the Kitty some ferocity, but it provides girth to the sound of the cheap thin Agathis body and a unique treble response.
Also, the fretwork is atrocious. Fret ends are jagged, and frets are not at all level. Totally needs a set up.
Aside from that, the aweful stock bridge needs to be replaced, with a Gotoh, I think makes one, and some steel import saddles.
The tuners never gave me any problem. The nut either.
