Heh....more fun with the new Charvel! A little shredding self-indulgence over a progression I ripped off from Domine's "The Prince The Scarlet Robe" ...it's a great riff to rip over & it's not my first jam over this one...won't be my last either

Props on the improved sound quality. Listened for 4 or so minutes and one thing I'll say is your playing had better clarity and was more consistently in key than in clips past. I couldn't make it to the end though -- was too relentless. But battles are relentless, are they not?

Speaking of improved sound...I just added some (guitar-smulated/pitch shifted) "bass" to this one too...



Gonna do it with this one next...




Come to think of it...there's not much difference between those two and the Barbarian shred clip, as far as being "in-key" /sound quality etc goes..though they're pretty new as well..& I guess every 'lil bit of improvement counts :bigthumb:

But yeah, some of these older ones are a bit iffy with the sound.. though I guess I was starting to get the "playing in key more" thing figured out already by then..











Of course with some even older clips you can tell I'm struggling with both sound & staying in key..











Then there's the oldest one's ever lol..atrocious sound...staying in key was a huge problem here obviously...but I was young & talentless..








Still ...it's been a journey..I keep striving till I come up with stuff that's in key & sounds nice..like my little "Balls deep in Blood" jam up there..

Yeah, even on the crappiest recordings the solo's always cut through enough to follow and i don't really hear any inherent problem with being in key either..

It's pretty hilarious what folk come up with..

Here's another (1st/earlier) take for my "balls deep in blood" jam.. (yep..the eternal struggle to stay in time/tune continues..). Sadly...it's not quite as 'relentless'...but it's still pretty 'relentless'...
