Basecly i used a Squier affinity Strat for all the rhythm, JB Jr bridge pickup thoughout (both guitar parts)
with my Ibanez Jem with dimarzio Evo's for the lead/solo's.

My guitar amp is a Peavey 5150mk1 into a Marshall 1960 cabinet (G12T-75) recorded with a single Audio Technika (spelling?) Condensor mic.

Second guitar was through a Marshall JMP-1 Preamp using the recording output.

Thanks for listening :)

Not really my style, but I like the solos. I think you should lose the bend at the end of the sweep on We Speak in Echoes.

Y'know... I'm not usually a fan of this style- but I have to say, this was VERY well done. I really liked the drum sound, and the guitar sound is good as well. Was the kit triggered?

Yeah the toms and the bassdrum was triggered, basecly he recorded single beats of the kit before hand to use as the sounds for the triggers.

As for the bend at the end of "we speak in echos", yes i know, i hate it too but the end of the solo was improvised, in our live show that isnt the end of the song, theres a tiny "end" section, it solves the whole problem with that bend, going into the studio to sort it out will cost too much money for its worth and i cant afford it.

Thanks for listening and for your comments :)

Hey man that is such a tight track! Reminded me of pantera a bit...but i love that tone!

Keep it up man ;)

Re: Band Demo, Metal, have a listen :)

I'm have a bit opposite opinion!
I like the vocs but the instrumental bores me a bit but still very good ;)
Not my exact style for the instrumental... I like it faster and more straight forward....
How did you record this stuff? Overall sound is very good...

Reminds me a lot of God Forbid:firedevil . Seems like the tempo needs to be upped a bit, making it more driving and more guitar in the mix, maybe more gain IMO. Love the harmonized guitar parts! Sounds very tight.

Re: Band Demo, Metal, have a listen :)

Good mix, I dig the guitar tone. At first I thought there was something funny about the vocals, then I realized that you guys are across the pond!:chairfall You can definitely hear the difference between influences in American and European metal. I prefer our European counterparts. I mean, c'mon, In Flames, Arch Enemy? Keep up the good work.:usa1:

cool work man ,as good as Lamb of God!! wich i like.Very nice tone and picking bro!!
I hope we will hear more soon!!!:)

cheers!!!

Re: Band Demo, Metal, have a listen :)

I found the 'off-riff' kick drumming from around 3:22 to the end of the track a distraction from the rest of the song, which was pretty good.

Re: Band Demo, Metal, have a listen :)

Great tone, great production, tight band. As with others, this music isn't exactly my taste but that doesn't matter much. As far as I can tell, this song hits the style squarely between the eyes.

Your playing is excellent. Did you double-track yourself or use some sort of studio trick for that? If you double-tracked it yourself that's very impressive -- Tony Iommi would be proud. :)
