Bare ground wires?

Does the entire bare ground wire need to be wrapped in Elec tape, or just where they are soldered to the Volume Pot? Dimarzio`s have 2 grounds but ! is completely bare.

I usually wrap the exposed wire so then it doesn't touch the switch or something else.

me too ... i just leave enough exposed to solder it to ground
