Bare Knuckle...

People here often mention this Warpig Pickup by Bare Knuckle... but has anyone ever tried one a Warpig or a Nailbomb? How do they sound? I'm not so sure about 23 kOhm combined with Alnico 5 is so shreddy... wouldn't a keramik do better work on hioutput metal pickups?

There are some clips of the Warpig and some more with the Nailbomb at the Bare Knuckle Forum, and the staff will surely answer your questions. BTW, a guy over there uses Warpigs with ceramic mags in his baritones. :firedevil Such options are only a matter of discussion with Tim Mills.

I think Twilightodyssey has tried a Nailbomb here.

BTW, polepieces and (scatter)winding also affects tone, it's not just Ohms and magnets.
