At present: neither, for what I used please reread my previous post
And a 7 string Baritone doesn´t sound like overkill, a standard scale seven string sounds like Mud on the low B.
But seriously, the entire theory behind a Baritone guitar not being able to tune up to standard e is just off... Or how many Bassists do you know that have a 35/36/37" scale bass that can´t tune to standard "because it´s a long scale bass"...
Again, we´ve (guitarists in general) been doing it for longer than anybody here has been alive, and as a side note: strings are available in varying gauges... Just becasue everybody want´s to tune down doesn´t mean that the same formula doesn´t apply when tuning "up"
