Baritone Guitar ? Can it do standard e tuning?

Hi Zerberus do you use a Jackson baritone or a Ibanez Baritone?

A 7 string baritone sounds like overkill ...

At present: neither, for what I used please reread my previous post

And a 7 string Baritone doesn´t sound like overkill, a standard scale seven string sounds like Mud on the low B. ;)

But seriously, the entire theory behind a Baritone guitar not being able to tune up to standard e is just off... Or how many Bassists do you know that have a 35/36/37" scale bass that can´t tune to standard "because it´s a long scale bass"...

Again, we´ve (guitarists in general) been doing it for longer than anybody here has been alive, and as a side note: strings are available in varying gauges... Just becasue everybody want´s to tune down doesn´t mean that the same formula doesn´t apply when tuning "up"

Not sure how the theory work ... don't want to sound like a dumb fcuk eheh but
what guitar string set would be good for tune to e standard on a baritone ... I remembered using 46-10 on my Jackson DXMG and they were pretty tight already ... and 42-10 were ok ok not ot bad ....

8s or 9s,, depending on the exact baritone scale.... for said 1" longer Yamaha, I´d try 9.5s ;)
