Hi.

I'm shopping around for new pickups(again) for the LP
and while I'm not interested in copying anyone in particular,
I'll provide you with 2 YT clips I'd like to use as a reference.

So specwise, what would you suggest to achieve a similar sound?

Rhoads' pickup was a T-top (stock gibson '70's). I'm guessing the other would be similar. Either a more vintage style lie a 59 or PG if your amp is high gain, or something from the custom family if its not so.

+1 on the PG or 59, A custom with a mag swap to alnico mag may be more to your style.
