Bass Lines 6-string bass soapbar. Any J Bass pickups?

I have a 6-string Peavey bass that I would like to change the pickups on. I want to get active Jazz Bass pickups. I know of the EMG 45J ytype pickups, but does Seymour Duncan offer a similar pickup in their Bass Lines?

Welcome to the forum.

The SD/Basslines "soapbar" bass pickups are described in the catalogue as employing a split blade polepiece design. As a result, the sound is far more P than J.

My experience with the Phase II pickups in a Yamaha five stringer was that they were full sounding and clear but, even with extreme settings of the STC-3 EQ, they could not reproduce the "bounce" of a Jazz Bass.
