Aftermarket mods don't usually increase the value of a guitar, but it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I think $450 is overpriced for this particular piece.

I agree, I think you should see if he will take less, what can it hurt. But in the end it's really what you you want to pay for it. I like it myself
