Battle of the small amps: Laney vs Crate

Looks like I am going ro sell off my Valvetronix 30 and pick up either the Laney LC15 or the Crate 5W Palomino. I'm using this in an apt and mostly for blues and hard rock. If anyone has experience with these amps , let me know.

I didn't like the 5 w Palomino in relation to it's bigger brothers.

assuming that valvetronix wasn't too much for your appt

if it was and you have picky neighbors, 5 watts is about all you can have

Try the 16w Palomino. It sounds much better through its stock speaker than the 5.
