Bb minor tips?

Okay guys, I need some Ideas of what to play over the key of Bb minor (chord progression = Bb Db x3 Gb Db x1). Any tips for arpeggios that have a modern sound to them?

i am confused (sorry)

first you say Bb minor
then when you give the progression, there are no minor chords

if you clarify, i can dial in my suggestions

also, what style? is this hard chuggin crunchy metal? or light jazz? or something else?

off the cuff, an interesting thing to do is treat it like Bb dorian instead of Bb aeolian ... so you can play some cool Abmaj7 and Dbmaj7 arpeggios over it ... just be careful to play Gb instead of G when you get to the Gb chord

Sorry for the confusion, I said "key of Bb minor."

It's modern rock and that is the verse chord progression.

Eh maybe just hum a series of notes over the progression??
Sometimes just doing that can lead to nice places?!

I might be able to hum it but I couldn't play it on guitar! I'm a song writer first and foremost that's why I hang out here, maybe some of the talent around here will soak in.

Try using sus 2 and sus4 triadic arpegios ideas....

Bbsus 2...Bb, C, F
Bbsus 4...Bb, Eb, F


also try Bbm 11... Bb, Db, F, Ab, C, Eb
or R, b3, 5, b7, 9 and 11

try using Bb aeolian minor, also known as the pure or natural minor scale...

spell....real important!
Bb, C, Db, Eb, F, Gb, Ab, Bb
or R, 2, b3, 4, 5, b6, b7, R

also try Bb aeolian minor harmonization in triads... Bbm, Cdim, Db, Ebm, Fm, Gb, Ab
spell these triads!

also try Bb minor harmonzation in 7th chords...Bbm7, Cm7b5, Dbmaj7, Ebm7, Fm7, Gbmaj7, Ab7
spell these 7th chord arpeggios!

This kinda stuff goes on and on...
