Bc Rich cj perice Eagle pickups

I was just wondering if anyone know why the difference in pickups on the cj Pierce gold top Eagle. One with blade type and the retail version with covered pickups and what are the difference is in tone as the age still Custom custom and custom 59...

I am looking at the pics of the guitar, and see that they are rails in some of them, but listed as a 'Custom Custom' and 'Custom/59' pickups. My guess is that the Custom Custom is in the bridge, and the Hybrid is in the neck. There isn't a whole lot of info out there. The Custom Custom is a thick higher output bridge pickup, with less highs and lows. The Hybrid is usually a bridge pickup, too, but it seems to be used in the neck here. That has more of an open sound (more highs & lows than mids) with slightly higher output than a normal PAF.
