I wish he was here in the States. My GC in Charlotte has a few Jubilee heads (approximately $1,500 a piece) and the matching cabs ($700 a piece).

Someone should pick that up from the UK.

That one has Simon's name written all over it. You really gotta snap these things up while you can. If I had the means, I'd own tons of them. You don't realize it yet,
but those amps are the Microsoft stock of the Marshall amp line. I have one of the
few 2550 Fullsize Fullstacks in mint condition with original covers, candy etc.
It's one of my favorite pieces of gear. I've passed on several other mint ones I could have snagged, but stacks are hard to find room for. Just wait till you see mint Jubilee
stacks going for more than $10,000. It'll take a few years, but silver is hard to keep immaculate. The super clean one's will hit the roof in price.

Shlt... if i had the cash, i'd e-mail that guy now, and be over his house tomorrow morning.

Who wants to buy a sister? Bit overweight, not very good looking, but knows how to wash dishes....

I don't do paypal... though you could paypal the guy for his marshall, and i could go pick it up.

As for shipping, she's pretty heavy, commissioning your own container ship with emergency tug-boats could get expensive. Sorry.

I had a 2553 and sold it in '92 (bad move). I wonder how much crawling to the wife I'd have to do to bag this!!!????

Well, I already have the 2553 head and the bottom cab, and I can't afford to collect another stack, but I'll be watching carefully - if by some chance it doesn't sell I might make an offer on the top cab. Guys, you don't really want to buy that, take my word for it - they're crap. ;) :naughty:

I can't say I much care for the silver tolex or the 2553, but I can definitely concur on the price. I scored my black 2555 head in June 2001 for $550. The guitar shop I bought it from had two black 2555 heads that year, I kind of wish I'd bought both as I want a backup. I still don't feel too bummed though as you can still get the black ones for around $1,000 and the head I bought sounded 10x better than the one I passed on.
