Anyone have any online suggestions. There's literally no one with in 30 miles that does lessons around here. I've heard of some doing lessons over Skype and that seems like a reasonable way to do some lessons.
Fort Wayne is 2 2 1/2 hours away from here. I'm in Winchester directly in between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. I'm closer to Muncie and Richmond, that's still a half hours drive.
Ah, you replied while I was finding the studio's website. I would think that Muncie has some decent guitar lessons. Check local guitar shops in Anderson and Muncie. Many guitar shops offer lessons.
In person would probably be easier than skype. Part of what a teacher can teach you will help fine tune technique. It would be hard to watch precise finger placement over a webcam...

No argument there, but with gas prices jumping around all the time, it doesn't really make it feasible for me. I was kind of figuring Skype/Webcam would probably be better over just regular lessons from a video or book. At least with a web cam, the person is actually "there" to explain things.
TrueFire have something they call Sherpa classes. It's not via Skype, but very interactive via the "classroom".
I haven't tried it myself, but have very pleasing experience with their video courses, and from what I know most students are quite happy with their Sherpa courses.

The Paul Gilbert online school might be something to check out. I'm not sure that it has skype but from some of the samples you do get feedback from the man himself on videos you submit from the lessons.
