as difficult as it will be, across-the-board behringer haters please refrain from posting here.

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

I will step up and confess to owning a few Behringer products. I have two mixers and two vocal mics - I also have their stereo volume pedal. They all work great.

However, I have heard some bad reviews of their new stomp boxes - but I don't have any personal experience - so, sorry - I can't help you. But I would be hesitant because I would be concerned about the noise - and I don't need anymore noise in my pedal chain.

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

I have owned the Ultra Flanger and now i have the Vintage Phaser. The Ultra Flanger sounded great, a nice little pedal. But as you maybe all know, not "built-like-a-tank". The Vintage Phaser on the other hand are both. Good sounding and a good box. I'm having it fixed with a new on/off switch, a new/fixed rate knob and true by-pass.

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

I have the equalizer, noise suppresor, and octaver. Figured I'd give them a go because they're cheap as anything. So far I'm pretty pleased with them for the price. The eq does a good job, and since I just have it in the loop and sitting on top of my amp, durability's not an issue. For the noise suppressor I just turn it on once & forget about it, and the octaver is only used for two parts in my band's set. So far they've held up just fine. I doubt I'd get any more from them, as I've found another company that provides the same type of thing but in a metal casing, for around the same price.

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

www.dotonshaft.com has 'em. check it out, and contact mike for details. tell him Jay sent ya. he'll look after you.

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

no records found

He must not have the site updated just yet. They can be found on ebay as well. He has a section there. If not luck, just contact him directly and you'll be all set.

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

Buy the boss.... the Behringer is nothing more than a reverse engineered copy with lower grade parts and a crappy plastic case. The Boss will last forever and the Behringer will quit the day after the warranty expires ;)

Re: Behringer digital delay and reverb pedals?

The rocktron short timer is suppose to be pretty good for the money. Some one on here has 2 of them I think.

I do agree on getting Boss instead, but for those of us that are constantly broke, here are the facts (in Canada at least):

Behringer - $35
Boss - $125

That's why I mentioned the dotonshaft stuff. They're all metal cases, not plastic. And they're around the Behringer pricing. It's all due to his low overhead right now.

Seems a little too good to be true.....

That's what everyone thinks. The fact is that he has super low overhead at the moment, and basically gives the stuff away, so he can grow his business. Look at it this way then: if you could get a Behringer with a metal case instead of plastic for the same price, would you? Same sort of deal. As far as I know the electronics are decent, and the cases are solid. They may not be on par with the Boss stuff just yet, but for 1/3 the price, it could be worth a shot.
