Behringer tube amps

I don't know if this has been on here already, I don't come here often. But I thought I'd share.

That's right, tube amps by Behringer! The name 'Bugera' was already used for the speakers in some of their cabs, but now they've named an entire line of tube amps after it. Don't they remind you of a certain wellknown brand? :fingersx:

Even the type numbers reflect this.

333 -> Triple XXX
6260 -> 5150

I must admit, I have deep respect for Behringer's marketing department!

WOW - any prices on any of these ?

Will they too have a real-man's price to them, just like their stomp-boxes, i.e. half the price of the one they immetate (sp?) ?

They are indeed half the price of peavey. If you click the get prices link on the website it will show the MSRP for the products. The 6260 will be $589.99 while the 333 prices havent been released yet. Definitely looking to give these a shot.

behringer products are decent stuff to get. however i heard theres a problem with durability. i've heard complaints about behringer mixers, pedals, amps breaking down in about 1/2 the time of other more 'branded' products.

Most tonally knowledgable folks can hear the difference between the Behringer stuff. Their bass cabs sound like a sack of smashed *******s compared to even some of the lower end stuff from Hartke.

As much as I like my Hartke Transporter...I know that when I can smoke someone with it they've REALLY got a ****ty rig to play through.

. . . then do not get the combo, and rather got for the head and ad a tasty AVATAR 2x12 :smokin:
