Belated NGD...

In this case, the "G" stands for GUITARS (plural). Been BUSY trading, buying, selling, and building new gear this past several weeks.

Traded-off my new Music Man Y2D, a pair of G&L Tributes (Legacy, ASAT Special), and a Sterling Ray 35 bass (to various people, local and otherwise). Ended-up with a 2011 American Deluxe Strat (two-tone sunburst), American Squire Strat (only made in '89, fiesta red with maple board), and an Epi LP Traditional gold top. Also bought an Epi Pro/FX (with Floyd trem -- cause I'm an Alex Lifeson fan), and the day after that I picked-up an old beat-up Gibson Les Paul Studio (black) for CHEAP ($450) that's got TONS of mojo. I REALLY dig her. I call her "Ugly Betty". In terms of guitars, I plan to sell/give the Epi gold top to my son and then stay at 3 LPs and 3 Strats. If I find one that I have to have, then one has to go. Been on a one-in, one-out kick for a while.

I really like that black LP ;)

Nice LP collection my friend

Words are cheap, let your fingers do the talking

Oh trust me... they do. I post mostly during the day time because I'm stuck at a desk and can't play. When I'm home, I'm playing and rarely posting. (see the link in my sig for some of my tunes)

Me too. She's been rode hard and put away wet... but she's a fun ride. Buddy's been borrowing her for a few days and is supposed to bring her back tonight. I'm chomping at the bit to lay hands on her beat-up body again! :D

Re: Belated NGD...

Thanks guys!

Lest anyone not realize it, the cherry sunburst Standard pictured is VERY photogenic under the right lights. Here's what her top REALLY looks like...

Re: Belated NGD...

That first Strat of the bunch almost looks like it's Paul Gilbert Inspired. Dig it

I could be completely wrong and sound like an ass though haha

Naw... that was a good point. Same color scheme as his Fireman model. I never thought about that when I customized this Strat. Just sort of happened. Started-out as a Sam Ash specific MIM strat with a pearloid pickguard, loaded with Tex Mex pups. Went through a phase where it had mint green pickguard and red pickup covers/knobs. And then settled on the tortoise guard loaded with Duncan Hot and Cool Stack pups.

Well, regardless if it was intentional or not, it looks sweet
