Benefits of Green Rhino vs TS9?

Re: Benefits of Green Rhino vs TS9?

Dude, ouch.. I see what your point. I agree and wish I could provide a shootout, instead of asking.. But my good amp is broken so I cant properly run them with the crummy lil amp I have and I wanna put my board together and so I was asking guys that actually have gigging experience with em..

:smack:

I'm just saying...if you have 'em then you should be able to decide which you like best.

However if your big amps ain't running right then working on a pedal board might be putting the cart before the horse...no?

Agreed. Don't buy a pedal, and then decide to get rid of it just because your practice amp sucks. Don't try guitars through your practice amp. Basically don't do anything with your practice amp, except practice.

Sorry, that reads a bit harsher than I intended.
I've just had a few thread like this....another was "I've got a 'V' and a SD 59 and a Seth lover lying around, which pickup will be better"

Sorry to hear your 'crappy amp' conundrum.
If it makes you feel better then I'm reduced to playing acoustic only as my order for a DRRI has gone to backorder and is months away. Upside is that my acoustic playing is getting much better and that can only make my electric playing smoother and more articulate.

Re: Benefits of Green Rhino vs TS9?

thanks Alex! Yeah. Im kinda feeling beat up in this thread.. I understand what everyone is saying and agree fully.. I need to try em both.. And, I have, and I will when I can rightfully do so.
My biggest thing is that Im not a gigging player and hope to be one day. What Im really getting at is which works better for the guys that gig and why? Yes, Ill still have to try them. But, Im 80% deaf, so honestly, I can tell little difference so far, except that the bottom boost on the Rhino really boosts the lows...

Anyhow , Im gonna let this thread die and just sort it out myself when I can.. I WISH I could play my accoustic and strengthen my fingers and my chops. Sadly, I can normally only practice at night after I get off work from 2-4 am and have to use the headphones on my practice amp. My accoustic wakes up the wife who then gives me an earfull..
