Best 2x12 combo for max 500$

I was thinking of buying that and then putting two celestion v30s in that and then running my marshall 6100 into that for a crushing lead metal tone? what you guys think? any alternatives?

*scratches head* What's the point of buying a combo if you're just going to use it as a 2x12 cab? Why not just buy a cab with V30s already in it?

I'd go with Orange or a used Emperor or Vader cab.

Find a used Mesa 212 Horizontal or Vertical Recto V30 cab, or one of the 212 Half-Back cabs. The ideal configuration for these is a C90 in the top and an EVM in the closed bottom. These cabs ROCK and they're built like a tank. The Black Shadow MS-12 is also a good choice for the bottom speaker. All of these are great cabs and should be available used below budget.

Find a used Mesa 212 Half-Back cabs. The ideal configuration for these is a C90 in the top and an EVM in the closed bottom. These cabs ROCK and they're built like a tank.

I have one of these and they kick major ass. I found mine for $350 used.

Both are $479, plus shipping, and you can choose from several speakers including the Celestion Vintage 30. I have two of their 4x12s and they're good cabs for the money.

But like others have mentioned above, if you can find a used Mesa loaded with V30s, I'd go for that.

Go for a used Mesa 2x12. Massive sound and can be scored for less than 500. They even have Vintage 30's

might be hard to find but I have a fender vibroking 2x12 and its awesome. comes stock with two v30's
