it may not be the biggest shop around, or the most high profile...but it definitely has the biggest heart and BEST customer service you could ever imagine...jeff has always been more than easy to deal with...i've bought every single piece of gear i've ever owned from him except my bass...and i feel bad about that...i guess i'll have to buy a 5 string jazz from him to make up for it...LOL!!! it just kinda feels like home when i walk in there...!?

That is amazing on so many levels - your daughter getting excited about getting a new guitar, your wife, yourself and also the store owner. What a gesture and it is sometimes good to hear about these guys who do so much to give a good customer service/experience. Not only for you but also your family as well - just think what this means for both your daughter and also your wife. They will go to someone who they can trust.
Look forward to seeing pics of the guitar and your little girl?

Agreed ... I think he'd get a kick out of knowing truly how much of an impact his actions had ... then again he might see my "fleecing" comment there and think twice next time

Man, when you started to describe your daughters "quivering lip" I felt so bad. I've seen my son with that look and it's hard to say no when it rolls around.
She's gonna love that guitar.....and love you even more for getting it for her.

Anyway, great story. As one who has given my granddaughter a little Dean Playmate acoustic, I know that feeling from making a little angel smile.
And, its great to know that folks like Jeff still exist. I may have to buy a little somethin' from him too, just to show appreciation.
