Best 5150 in a box pedal?

For a while, I've been wanting to go hybrid with my setup. I have a tube poweramp, and I also have an HX Stomp. I want to integrate some analog into my setup.

I'm a big fan of the 5150III, but I also dig the Peaveys. I wonder what pedal can get me that tone.

I am looking for a preamp pedal. Not a pedal that goes in front of a clean channel, please. Also looking for analog, please.

So what are your recommendations?

:D

Do not bother with the TC Electronic Ampworx 550, sounds nothing like a 5150. It's just an awful can of bees.

The Amptweaker TightMetal and FatMetal pedals were designed by James Brown and are the best pre-amp pedals I know of for getting that sound.

I soooo hate to be that guy, but I feel it necessary. Just stick it in the effects return. If recording direct, you'll want an IR of some sort.

Did you get the chance to try one of these in the FX return of an actual 5150 amp? Curious how it compares to the amp's own preamp.

Oh, I've considered the MXR pedal, but I don't think that one's an actual preamp. I've read some people who tried running it this way straight into the poweramp, and most of them mention the pedal is too dark and muffled this way even with the treble cranked.
