Best 60's Fender pickups?

Hey guys!
I recently bought a Squier and I'm planning to 'upgrade' the guitar, I really want that 60's twangy Fender stratocaster sound without paying too much (about 250 dollars) ;).
Since I'm a kind of beginner on the field of electric guitar pickups... Can anyone recommend some pickups that will give me that specific sound?

( If someone cares about the guitar model: Squier 1995 Taiwanese Stratocaster)

I really appreciate it!

Greets from the Netherlands! (sorry for Potato English)

I regret to say that there is a limit on how close your recently purchased guitar is likely to get to your desired result. There are constructional and hardware reasons for this.

Several forum members have had excellent results by installing active pickups in budget guitars. My suggestion is a set of EMG-SLV or -SAV pickups. Neither of these will exactly recreate the sounds of an original vintage Fender but they will make the best of your guitar.

Welcome to the forum.

Some stacked coil replacement pickups for Stratocaster could be too tall to fit inside the routed cavities of the OP's Squier STRAT.

I really like the Fender Pure Vintage 65 Stratocaster pickups. They're affordable and sounded amazing

If I had to guess here, I would say the Alnico II set, as the 60s Fenders were slightly warmer than their 50's counterparts. You can always take the pickups out if/when you upgrade the guitar, and have an awesome pickup upgrade for the next instrument you get.
