Best cheapo loaded pickguards

OK, so I have this fairly crappy Squier Affinity Strat that I bought for like $60. The main reason I got it was just for a beater strat, as I don't have any others, and I started out on strats, being the only thing I played the first 5 or so years when I started. It also came with a Duncan Performer Scorcher in the bridge. The problems it has include: all 500k pots for some strange reason, one of the sides of the shaft is broken off on the top, and the moron who had it before super glued the (Gibson 335 style) knob to it, which caused glue to run down into the pot, so its hard to turn and doesn't work in most of its travel. The pickups in it sound like dirt, with the possible exception of the scorcher, and I just want to replace the whole guard at this point instead of trying to fix it part by part. I REALLY don't want to drop a lot of money to make this thing playable. I'm thinking like... Less than $50 bucks, but I would like it to at LEAST have halfway decent pots. I know you get what you pay for, I know I won't even get pickups with a name on them, but I hold out hope that someone knows of some decent cheapos that will at least work halfway decent for a while. Sorry for the unnecessary, rambling story.

Does a mod mind moving this to the pickup lounge? I am using Tapatalk, and it somehow switched sub-forums on me.

No prob.

As for your question, here's the low end of the price spectrum:

Guitar Fetish (about $30 to $50, single coils and humbuckers)

StewMac (just a generic, about $40)

I was actually looking at the GFS, and hoping someone would say they were good. I know a lot of people like their humbuckers, and I've been wanting to get two Mean 90s for my SG for a while now. So the Alnico loaded guard? Sounds good to me. Thanks everyone. This forum is seriously the best.

Edit: I am so happy they have the tuxedo style (white pickguard, black pickup covers) pickguard, because that's what I have now on the black guitar and I love it. Rosewood fretboard by the way.
