I want to hear a good single coil clean rig- My antiquity II's are coming in and I'm hyped up about hearing a sweet clean vintage tone single coil recording! Who has the best clean tone?

whatever you consider good...which is why I posted this up. Since people have different opinions on what is best, what better way to find yourself a good tone than by hearing what others consider good. There's probably a large variety of tonal colors that could be considered a good vintage tone-just want to hear some!

Here's one I did a while back, it's okay I guess. A Kinman tele PU into an old Pro Reverb. With a bit of help from an Analogman Juicer.
It's the only really clean thing I have on my hard drive.
Stevo gets some really sweet clean tone, though.

Thanks guys, you made my day.
Nun, nice stuff, especially at the ending. Groovy. Twilight, great stuff as well. That tune really has a lot of nice tension going and the tone really fits the mood perfectly.
When this DNC crap ends I really hope to be able to play here a lot more.

Quencho, not sure what kind of music you like but just IMHO some of the best clean tones ever recorded are on an album called "Radio City" by a band called Big Star. It came out in the early 1970's and is kinda Beatles/Byrds/Badfingerish. I think it's the most magical Strat into clean amp tone ever. They remain sort of a cult band so you will probably be able to find the CD in a decent record store. YMMV, of course, but if your Ant II's are Strat pickups you might like to hear that album. If you download you can try searching for a tune called "September Gurls" or "O My Soul."
