Best Duncan that compares to Lace Sensor?

I really like my Lace Sensors in my Tele and Strat - they are so quiet. Their clarity and definition is terrific, too. The problem? A little too sterile for some tunes. I need a tad more personality and a pinch of grit.

Not looking for high output screamers like Hot Rails. Any suggestions, like maybe Cool Rails? No true single coils, please - I can't stand single coil hum.

Stks4 classic stack pluss. Great noiseless pickups.

These aren't as cold or clinical as some Laces can be. They have feeling and personality. Those would be my choice here, as well. They do so much, so well. My favorite Strat pickups.

i had laces in my stray and tele all through the 90s (and a bit of the 2000s). Once i swapped to true single coil pickups i never looked back. There is a lot more to sounding good than just being noise free.

I've just swapped out the Lace Sensors in my G&L Legacy for precisely that reason. STK-S4 Classic Stack Plus in neck and middle, and STK-S7 in the bridge.
