"Best" economy knockoff hardware brands on amazon?

Whoever has used knockoff hardware for restorations or partscaster builds or whatnot, speak up!

Which China brands have delivered as promised with more complex stuff like locking tuners or roller bridges, and which couldn't be trusted to make a pickup ring without getting something azz-backwards?

I'd always suspected the aliexpress stuff with fake Korea labels (I mean it's a China direct wholesaler site, right???) was gonna be the dodgiest of the lot... plus they charge a 2x premium for the fake label

The TP6 tailpieces I have on my Florentine and Ehdwuld guitars are Guyker
The roller bridges from them are nice too
They are made in Korea , by the way

I like the KD brand locking tuners, they appear to be the ones that Alparts rebrand for their business

Some of the Aliexpress stuff is super cheap
Some of it is the same stuff you get here with a new label

I like the Yibuy pickups they have one set that specs similar to Hotrod set from Duncan
Alnico 5 magnets 7.2k ohms on the neck and 15.6k ohms on the bridge

Bout 30 bucks for a set

got one set of Donlis pickups with A2 mags
Those are nice too more paf wound to bout 8k ohms for both neck and bridge

I think you have to pot them yourself, though

I have an Amazon neck I forget the brand but it was 25 bucks delivered

Pretty sure there ain't a single non-chinese product on aliexpress... doesnt mean it's bad, just that it wouldn't be korean

GFS has pretty decent Chinese hardware & tuners. Not as cheap as the aliexpress stuff but shipping is prompt and fast.
And if ever you get a defective item they will make it right.

Real Gotoh only costs +$5 or so over GFS knockoffs.

Although I have no direct experience with their parts, I don’t recall ever hearing anything negative about them. Especially their pickups.

The locking tuners from GFS aren't all that great. They don't really lock tight, and the strings slip a little.

I haven't used every locking tuner on the market, but the Gotoh and Sperzel locking tuners work far better than GFS.

Gotoh is a really good brand for a really good price.

Don't know your budget but, IMO, Gotoh is not that much more than alot of the knockoffs I've seen but I've never had any issues with my Gotoh products.

I got my GFS strat trem arm bent by trying more than 3 springs with it.
