right now I'm really loving a '78 neck and a Bare Knuckle VHII bridge.

+ 1 on the Bareknuckle VHII, as well as their Black Dog, Mule, Crawler and Abraxas pickups

I think "PAF on steriods" is literally in Duncan's description for the Custom. For reasons other than that quote I would say that is exactly what the Custom line is.
