I guesstimated at least 10. There's no way I'd play that for more than a set. My shoulder hurts just thinking about it...LOL.

Yeah, seeing as how Ive had 3 back surgeries, this doesnt do me any favors...
Reminds me of how Page and all those 70s guys used to get the droop/slouch shoulder from playing pauls.

Just for the sake of info... The Edwards Sykes I had was just over 8lbs , I have an 07 Epi thats 9 lbs and by contrast, my 1999 Epi Ace Frehley was barely over 6 lbs. Most of that weight was the 3 super distortions..

The early 90's Studio I had was probably close to 9. I never weighed it though so it could've been maybe a pound lighter. Great guitar, one I wish I still had. The Epi I sold here within the past year or so was 7.5. Heck, the Tele I had recently and sold was 8. That's probably about the max I'd want a guitar to weigh these days.

If you want check out Ishibashi, go to www.ishibashi-music.com. There is a link to translated pages. If you want to order, send them an e-mail listed on the site and tell them what model you are interested in. They will give you the price and availability. It may take a day or two for a response due to the time zone difference. The prices are changing with the exchange rates now. Also, be aware that you will have to pay a U.S. Customs duty and possibly a credit card transaction fee. Be sure to get a pre-authorization on your credit card for an international purchase!! I got an Edwards LP 92 SD in April and it ended up costing a total of about $1000.00. It is worth every penny.
