I voted for sunburst with a maple board but am partial to both Candy Apple Red and Lake Placid Blue.

My favorite is Olympic White/Rosewood.

3 color Sunburst with Rosewood and aged plastic is my favorite.

Then, 2 color Sunburst with worn tinted maple neck.

The only colors I don't like are what I consider feminine colors.....baby blue, seafoam, faded yellow, pink paisley, pink.........for some reason, I've always disliked red strats too. Those colors just aren't my thing.

I voted for the one I wanted and bought, an American Strat finished in sunburst w/maple neck.
But I've always really liked that Lake Placid Blue finish with either a rosewood or maple board.

I gotta go with the classic black/maple. Dave Murray, Eric Clapton.... the list of players who have rocked this guitar is amazing. And it looks the best to me too.

3 color sunburst w/ rosewood is my pick... just looks right and if SRV were alive today, he'd agree with me

I think my favorite strat color is the white w/ tortoise pickguard and rosewood fretboard. There's just something about that combination that looks so badass. Candy apple red is the only color that I'd take with a plain maple neck.

ive always liked the look of a fender strat thats black and has a maple neck. Its a calssic look that will never die! The again all fo them you listed are classic looks, but im impartial to black when it comes to electric guitars.

I would go for the black/ maple neck , with black pickguard ,white pickup covers, white tone/volume controls...............just like the one David Gilmour was using during The wall concerts........
Sunburst??????????? :22: :22: :22: ...............it's awful............i own a sunburst strat and i don't like the colour but it has a very nice tone.............
Otherwise i would go CAR or natural..........

i was thinking about this again and of your choices and not ones of my own i like a white strat white guard and maple neck but it has to be a 70's style big headstock or it loses all it's charm to me...

White with maple neck for me.
My other strat is 3 tone sunburst with a rosewood neck.
IMO, the white and sunburst colors are "classic" strat colors...

My other fav's are natural with a maple neck or surf green with a maple neck...
