I like the Malmsteen Strats. Vintage White (banana pudding :13:) with rosewood fretboard, aged parts and mint green pick guard.

If I were going to build/buy another strat, I'd probably go with Tobacco Burst over swamp ash with a one piece maple neck and a pearloid pickguard.

My prefered strat, or tele are either natural or vintage white with maple fretboard and a black pickguard.

I really really like olympic white with a rosewood board, but my ultimate combi would be transparent dark blue on ash, with a dark stained birdseye neck and board. Oh, and gold hardware + pearloid pickguard :)

I prefer other colours than the ones you mentioned (CAR is my favorite) but i voted black/maple neck on this poll.

Sunburst?????!!!!!!!!......one of the most boring colours.......ever...........

I feel like I'm the only one who likes Surf Green with a maple board :laugh2:

I voted for sunburst w/ maple, my second favorite kinda strat, thanks to Brownie and the Layla album.

i like other colors more than the ones listed but give those choices, olympic white with a rosewood fretboard takes the cake by far. black/maple is nice but it is somewhat plain (although classic). my fav color is a blue/white or black burst with a maple board (G&L ish). a color i would like to see is a yellow/white burst.

They're all sweet! I love the sunburst/rosewood neck/black or tortoise pickguard, yellowed white/rosewood or maple/white pickguard, sunburst/rosewood/faded mint green pickguard.

Seafoam green with maple and white/maple or black/maple or rosewood are the next tier.

I'm like a chick with shoes--never saw one I didn't like, lol.

Vintage white body, maple fretboard, green moto pickguard, aged white knobs/covers...that's my favorite and soon to be combination :)

Sunburst with maple board. mine has the sienna sunbusrt finish over ash and its very beautiful.
