Listen to the sound samples, compare all the tone and output specs and consider your guitars wood tone and the pot specs. At that point it's still a crap shoot because SD still doesn't have a sound sample from the Classic Stack Plus, so I guess SD doesn't want to sell it, I mean how lazy and unprofessional can you get to create it and not promote it on your own website after all this time?
Something to consider with the humbucking singles is always the pots, and likely going to 500 or 1meg from 250, as basically all the humbucker single sized pickups roll of some highs, many of them to a horrendous degree.
Alternately, you have the Lace Holy Grails, Kinman Traditionals or perhaps Fralins, and I've never seen such consistent very high marks given as for the Holy Grails and Kinmans, in the catagory of humbucking single-sized. Dimarzio's Fast Track 1 gets consistent lesser but good reports.
I've heard several full-sized humbucker bridge clean samples that sound FAR better than humbucking singles in the bridge.
