I am not someone who thinks the Sentient is a whole lot different than the Jazz, really. Not as bright, but getting there.

I like the Sentient and I also like the Holcomb set. You can get the neck pickup by itself or vice versa. I think the neck is the Alpha and the bridge is the Omega. Either way, those two pickups are nice IMO and worth a look.

couldnt tell ya the last time i tried a fs neck but i feel like it was similar to a jazz but kinda dimarzioified if that makes any sense. like if steve or larry wanted to make a sd jazz for the dimarzio line up, itd be close to a fs

These are almost the same to me. FS is brighter, followed by the Jazz, then Sentient. Pick the brightness level your guitar needs.
