As much as I dont like the look of HSS, this one was pretty nice to play at a friends house !

That white one is pretty nice.
I do like the look of Blacktop strats though they dont play great and feel a bit cheaply made
and the Black Fat Strat with white pickups is pretty cool too, but I have only played a sunburst one when I was alot younger thought it was cool then because it was fat...... but dont know if it played great. Otherwise havent played an other humbucker Fender guitars.

G&L has got all the bases covered with their Legacy, S-500, Comanche and Legacy Special models. You can order all the pickup variations you can think of.
If you want "Super Strat" look at the Invader models.

My fave is the Alvarez that I modded for my brother. It has a pair of the Fender 57/62's in the neck and mid and a bridge position Phat Cat running alnico V mags. I really wonder why a set up like this hasn't caught on with the big brands. Fender would sell a lot of these things, if the scratch up the paint enough, of course.

Even an SSS Strat can be non - SSS. With a Little '59, JB Jr. et al.
