I agree completely. Even 500k volume and 300k tone works well. Just no dual 300k's.

Enjoyed reading your post, my son put a phat cat in a $125 epi junior, unbelievable to put it mildly. He has a 2010 Gibson LP Jun and is really looking haaaarrrrd at antiquity p90 for this. Love the non wax potted approach and the a2 magnets as per the phat cat. Have seen a couple of demos on utube and wish there were more in depth comparisons between say stock gibson p90's etc. He put some SD pups into an epi g400 (Jb and Jazz) so we are real SD converts. Quite serious about the antiquity dog ear though, its an addiction I think, modding.
