Best pedals for a Marshall amp

Just when I started down sizing my pedal board, I'm on a pedal kick again. This time around though, I only plan on adding a few missing elements. Right now I have and use a boss chorus, mxr delay, keeley ds1, mxr zakk wylde od, boss tuner. What other pedals would go good with a Marshall amp? They can be distortion or modulation.

Isn't it the 3rd pedal thread you're starting? xD

I don't know much about Marshall amps so good luck and I wish you'll at least get the informations you want someday!

P.S. People will probably ask you about what type of music you play, etc, etc...

Octave!!

Also a wah. Another delay. And then another delay just to be sure. A decent phaser. Volume pedals are really cool. Some sort of rotovibe-esque/tremolo thing. A flanger with a stereo output. Oh, and a Whammy.

Re: Best pedals for a Marshall amp

I would say tremolo or flange. I dig a thick flange sound when used with taste.

Octave or whammy is a good suggestion, if it fits into your style.

what Marshall amp?

edit: ok, I just read your previous thread... Marshall DSL 100.

What's some good trem pedals? Always wanted one. Anyone try a microvibe?

Re: Best pedals for a Marshall amp

Right now I got a boss chorus, mxr carbon copy delay, mxr phase 90 (which i believe just died on me) mxr dyna comp, boss tuner, mxr zakk wylde od and a keeley ds1

Re: Best pedals for a Marshall amp

i'd say a wah, and maybe an EQ for those moments where you need either a boost or cut for certain freqs.

Re: Best pedals for a Marshall amp

But what happens if the looper was a dl4 that is a delay unit? Would that make it 4.5 b/c it's not a complete delay since the delay doesn't work when you switch to the loop option? Just saying.

Now what if I were to go amish and have 4 other acoustic guitarists playing the same notes that I do but only split seconds after each other?

I would support the Amish-looper situation. That would actually sound like the coolest thing ever lol

I as well. Let's round up some amish guitar players and get this show on the road. Quick someone get a camera so we can put it up on youtube....oh wait...

Actually tried this live once. Just kinda sounded like three guys playing out of time with each other, to be honest.
