I've completely fallen in love with Suhr Thornbuckers recently. They have that clarity, beautiful treble content, the smoothness and just enough compression to help them feel great whether they are under gain or clean.

In general, no cover, a lower output wind, and stronger magnets all contribute to more clarity and definition.
