Best pickups I have ever heard in my Les Paul Standard!

Re: Best pickups I have ever heard in my Les Paul Standard!

I personally am glad to hear a good report about the burstbucker neck... I've been considering getting one.

I feel sharing information is also a good use of forum software.

I was curious about C/'59 hybrid in an LP. Thanks for sharing, this may prove useful. :bigthumb:

So you got something and you wanted to share your happiness with it ? Great - I've done the same thing and so have countless others. Not likely to be a long lasting thread but who cares ?

Jibbycola !

(not as Jibbycola as a 59/Jazz hybrid for the neck, but if it's Jibbycola for you, it's Jibbycola for us).

I have a set of burst bucker pros in a Guild bluesbird and they rock really well especially when I play through my Marshall

In the hands of the right guitarist, just about anything sounds good. With so much to pick from, glad this combo worked for you and thanks for sharing.

Can't say I'm a fan of the Burstbucker anythings, but that's probably a sweet setup.

I appreciate the good news! I don't get along well with the Burstbucker in the neck of my Honeyburst LP.. searching for the right one ATM..

Re: Best pickups I have ever heard in my Les Paul Standard!

Cool info! I have one of the hybrids in my Charvel and dig it!! Bet it sounds great in an LP! (already have a BB pro in the neck) The BBpro and Hybrid compliment each other well??
