Best place to buy a neck

I've wanted to replace the neck on my MIM Strat for a while now. Is there a certain supplier I should be looking at depending on the profile I like? I'm hoping for a shallow C or maybe super soft V. I liked the original neck well enough but it was maybe a tad too deep for my liking.

Don't know how much it matters but here's a short checklist of what I'm looking for:

Maple w/ maple fingerboard
Shallow C or soft V profile
Not sure on a radius but not too rounded
21 "medium" frets (no preference on brand)
Truss rod adjustment behind nut
Strat style headstock with no logo*
Reasonably priced

*bonus points if offered in reverse

So where would a fella look for such a thing? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Warmoth or USACG is a good bet.

I don't have any exp. with USACG, but if you do get a Warmoth neck, be aware that you are gonna have to do a wee bit of fretwork (final shaping) and final cuts of the string slots in the nut.

Aside from that though, they use good wood, and their manufacturing process is consistent. Their standard thin profile is a shallow C and is very comfortable if you like fender necks but want something a bit thinner/faster.

My favorite aftermarket body/neck maker is Musikraft. The products are on par with or superior to anyone else's, and the options for neck profiles and other things are numerous. They are also by far the most vintage-accurate body/neck maker. Everyone else claims to be soooo accurate, but they really aren't if you know your stuff and pay attention to details. Musikraft, OTOH has actually done the hard research required to make it true.

Warmoth necks are fantastic...All-Parts make decent necks for a low cost--just depends on how much of a budget you are working with.

Get a vintage truss rod (or 70s) and none of the compound radius and Warmoth is likely to deliver a neck that only needs nut filing.

Your specs are likely to show up in the web specials.

I need a neck for one of my guitars too. I've been looking into Mighty Mite. Their prices are from $105 and up but I heard you may need a fret leveling with their cheaper necks.

I'd never really looked at Musikraft till just now. They have some nice options. I may try out the roasted maple.

I have one neck from each manufacturer. There are both excellent except the edges of the frets on the USACG neck are much smoother/finished feeling. I want to emphasize that the back woods, fretboards, tapers, tuning key prep, and heel shape on both are outstanding.
